Relief to NA personnel

Damauli, October 2

A total of Rs 3,72,50000 was distributed to 1,057 Nepal Army personnel, whose houses were destroyed in the devastating earthquake of April 25, in Tanahun, as of Friday.

Byas Municipality-based Ramban Gulma had distributed the amount from Nepal Army’s Welfare Fund to former and serving Nepal Army personnel. Battalion Chief Durga Bahadur Thapa said the amount was distributed to 433 personnel whose houses were destroyed and 624 personnel whose houses were damaged in the disaster.

Serving NA personnel are required to submit a copy of ID card along with the quake victim’s card to receive the amount, while the rule is different for former NA personnel.
