KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala today urged the party's second generation leaders to activate the party organisation and reach out to the people at the grass-root level.

Koirala had called in party office bearers at his residence in Maharajgunj this morning to take stock of the ongoing developments in the party and debate on fixing new date of its 12th General Convention, said Vice President Ram Chandra Paudel.

"The president instructed us to improve the party organisation by reaching out the party's activities at the local level touching upon the people of all walks of life so that the party organisations could be made stronger," Paudel said.
