Rise in cases of typhoid, fever at Bhojpur Hospital
BHOJPUR: The District Hospital in Bhojpur has witnessed a surge in number of patients suffering from various infections after Dashain and Tihar festivals.
The increase in cases of pneumonia, typhoid, fever, common cold and gastritis, have been reported in the Hospital, according to Dr Raman Jha.
Dr Jha expressed his assumption of the surge in patients' number was due to the excessive intake of fat with spicy food during the festivals.
Around 24 people visit the hospital every day, shared Dr Jha.
Apart from protozoan diseases, cold, cough and fever cases have also increased due to change in weather.
