PANCHTHAR: The Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav on Monday claimed that the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal would participate in third phase of the local level elections scheduled for September 18 in Province 2.

Speaking at a press meet organised in Panchthar today, Yadav said, "RJP-N's participation in the polls will mean a victory for it irrespectively of whether it wins or gets defeated."

He, however, said that the government did a mistake by not holding the local level elections in Province 2 in the second-phase itself while stressing the need for addressing the remaining issues through constitution amendment.

Yadav further pointed out the possibility of unity between Federal Socialist Forum Nepal and Naya Shakti Party as initiative was underway in this regard.
