RLW expands in Kavre

KAVRE:The Kavre chapter of Revolutionary Left Wings (RLW) posing itself as the sister wing of CPN-Maoist, a break away faction of the Unified CPN-Maoist has extended its organizations in several VDCs in Kavre district.

A 76-member of committee coordinated by DG Sarbahara was formed a month ago. The RLW has also formed four regional committees in the district.

"The organization has been extended to 20 VDCs in the constituency no 3 and 4 in the district so far," Sarbahara said to this daily today, adding that people's governments were also formed in these VDCs.

The formation of Kavre chapter of CPN-M will be announced within a week, he said.

Saying that the district chapter of RLW has 28 Red Guards, he said, the number of Red Guards will be extended up to 150 until the district chapter of CPN-M was announced. He said the Red Guards who are now undergoing training were selected from former cadres of UCPNM, Young Communist League and others.

The RLW with the extension of organization has intensified writing graffiti on the walls in different places during nights in the district.

The RLW has written such graffiti in different places including Nagarkot, Nala, Banepa, Dhulikhel, Kamidanda, Dhunkharka, Chyasinkharka and Bhugdeu.

The slogans like 'Struggle is on', 'We don't need nominal republic', 'Feudal and neo-feudal be alert', ' Punish the guilty of Jana Andolan and war' could be seen on the walls.

"RLW is planning to ban the shows of Indian movies and taking action against the figures involved in corruption in the near future," Sarbahara said.
