Palpa, March 8:

The private FM stations here have protested the decision of Royal Nepalese Army to run FM radio using the public frequency.

In an appeal issued by the radio stations today, it is mentioned that the operation of FM station by military using the frequency level between 88 and 108 megahertz is against rules and regulations.

The appeal said free radios will be affected if the security agencies run the FM station within the mentioned frequency.
