Robbers including 3 Indian nationals nabbed in Bara

BARA: Police have arrested six robbers including three Indian nationals carrying sharp weapons in Kohalwi Municipality of Bara on Tuesday evening.

Police have seized three home-made pistols with seven rounds of ammunition and a knife from their possession. The robbers were en route to execute a robbery, said police.

Acting on a tip-off, a team deployed by Bara District Police Office apprehended Pappu Sahani, Dinesh Das, and Sanjay Shah of Sitamani in India, and Dinesh Kumar Sunar, Ram Sewak Mahara, and Jagat Mahara of Sarlahi district, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhuwaneshor Shah at the DPO.

“We were pre-informed about the gang that had committed multiple robberies in various part of the country,” said Raj Kumar Baidwar, Superintendent of Police.

“We nabbed them as they were en route to Kohalwi in a tempo from Tamagadhi on Tuesday following their plan.”

According to Shah, the police have taken the gang into custody as per District Administration Offices’ instruction for further investigation.
