CAIRO: King Gyanendra and Queen Komal visited Cairo, the capital of Egypt, on Monday.

The royal couple were accorded a warm welcome at the Cairo Airport by the Minister for

Environment of Egypt, Magit George, and his wife. The Nepalese Ambassador to Egypt, Dr Ram Bhakta PB Thakur, was also present to welcome the King and the Queen at the airport.
