RPP flays Giri’s remarks
Kathmandu, September 22:
The Rastriya Prajatantra Party has raised concern over the statement made by the vice-chairman of the Cabinet Dr Tulsi Giri on the 1990 Constitution. “It is sad on the part of Giri that instead of all constitutional forces coming together, he has attacked on the spirits of the constitution,” RPP spokesperson Roshan Karki said in a statement issued today. Dr Giri on Monday in Biratnagar had said that the present constitution was the major hurdle in fulfiling the main objective of the February 1 royal take over.
