RPP-Nepal Gen Secy Chandra B Gurung no more

KATHMANDU: The General Secretary of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, Chandra Bahadur Gurung, has died in the United States of America on Saturday. He was 61.

He suffered from pancreatic cancer and was receiving treatment in Colorado of the US.

According to RPP-Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa's post on Twitter, leader Gurung breathed his last at 8 pm NST.

Gurung, who hailed from Syangja district, was the Parliamentary Party leader of RPP-Nepal in the first Constituent Assembly, elected in 2008.

He is survived by his wife Meenu and two children Abhishek and Richa.
