Rs 226.1 million for reconstruction in Lamjung

LAMJUNG: Besisahar Municipality of Lamjung district has spent Rs 226.1 million in reconstruction. The amount was spent on reconstruction of houses damaged during the 2015 earthquakes.

There are about 1,286 beneficiary households in the municipality among which as many as 1,238 beneficiaries have received Rs 61.9 million under the first instalment.

Similarly, according to municipality's engineer Anoj Chiluwal, as many as 820 beneficiaries have received Rs 123 million as the second instalment while 412 beneficiaries have received Rs 41.2 million as the third instalment.

Lokraj Pandey, head of the District Coordination Committee, shared that the delay in deploying technicians has resulted in the reconstruction moving ahead at a slow pace.
