DHANGADHI: A local philanthropist Devakidevi Awasthi of Dhangadhi Municipality-3 Boradandi has provided support of Rs 4.2 million for the operation of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Seti Zonal Hospital.

In a programme organized today at the hospital, she jointly handed the cheque amount to Medical Superintendent Dr Surya Bahadur Gurung and management committee chairperson Yagyaraj Pandey.

She provided the amount to the hospital to manage the ICU services and dedicated the amount in memory of her husband.

It is noted that her husband had died in the hospital due to the lack of ICU services there.
