Sahana for equitable society

Kathmandu, June 2:

Foreign Minister Sahana Pradhan today said political changes are going on in Nepal, but they are not being supported with socio-economic development programmes resulting in uncertainty in the country.

Speaking at a programme organised by the Jagriti Samaj Nepal to release an awareness raising compact disc (CD) against tobacco consumption, she stressed the need to do away with anomalies to build an equitable society. “Nepali people have been hearing of building a new Nepal for quite some time, but this issue has become uncertain. Social organisations and intellectuals should be able to guide the people in this regard.”
