SALYAN: A person died after a tractor hit him at Aringale Phedi along the Dang-Salyan road section of the district, on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Deepak Pariyar (20) of Ratamata in Musikot Municipality of the district.

Pariyar was found squashed against the tractor (Bhe 1 Ta 5292) today, informed the Salyan District Police Office.

Police said the cause behind the accident is yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, the tractor driver has been arrested for further investigation, the Tulsipur-based Area Police Office said.
