SALYAN: Three persons including a traffic police staffer were hurt when a group of transport workers vandalised a passenger bus belonging to Rukum Yatayat Private Limited at Srinagar in Salyan district this morning.

Staff of Rukum Yatayat Committee smashed the passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 7241) with stones over a dispute leading to the incident, police said.

Two injured passengers and Head Constable Birendra Bahadur Kadayat are receiving treatment at a local health post, police said.

The bus was heading to Rukum from Kathmandu when the incident occurred.

DSP Shyam Bahadur Khatri said that six people were arrested in connection to the incident.
