BHOJPUR: A woman who reportedly went to collect wild mushrooms was found dead after falling from a cliff, in Sankhuwasabha district on Saturday.

The victim has been identified as Bilashi Rai (24) of Diding VDC-9 in the district. Rai who was on the way to collect mushroom fell off the Gaideni cliff in the same VDC.

As she did not return home till late evening, her kin had intensified the search only to discover her body.

Chichila Police Post said a serious head injury was seen on her head while the body was discovered.
