SC summons Drishti editor

Kathmandu, March 30:

The Supreme Court today summoned chief editor and publisher of Drishti vernacular weekly, Shambhu Shrestha, to attend physically before the court within five days to defend a contempt charge lodged against them.

A single bench of justice Tahiar Ali Ansari issued the order. Advocate Tek Bahadur Rawal had filed the case alleging the weekly of being involved in contemptuous charge.

In its Volume 25, Number 19, edition Drishti had published a news that Justice Ansari did not provide justice but was involved in irregularities while deciding on a case against governor of

Nepal Rastra Bank.
