Kathmandu, March 10:

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) has donated 10 sets of desk-bench to Lila Ni Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Pumdi Bhumdi Village Development Committee, which is sufficient

to furnish one classroom for about 20 students, says a press statement issued by the bank. The school has been providing education to financially weak students for more than 25 years.

The furniture and some stationery material for students were handed over to the chairman of the School Development Committee, Dambar Bahadur Baral by the branch manager of the Pokhara Branch of the Bank Deepak KC at a function in the Branch this afternoon.
