KATHMANDU: An unidentified group of people has set the Shaligram Secondary School located in Setibeni Bazaar of Shaligram VDC in eastern Parbat, on fire, on Saturday., Rastriya Samachar Samiti has reported.

The Rastriya Samachar Samiti has reported that the attack took place at midnight where important documents from 1971 to 2003 and furniture worth of millions were gutted in the fire.

The arsonists tried to break into a shop belonging to Ramesh Neupane at Setibeni Bazaar, but fled when the locals woke up. The group then headed to the school and set it ablaze, local police said.

The Parbat District Police Office, however, has said that there have been no such reports yet.
