JANAKPUR:

An unidentified group set fire to the Smriti Primary School at Sugamdhukarahi- 8, on Sunday night. The school, running classes up to grade four, was established in memory of Maoist leader Ram Briksha Yadav (Master Saheb). The group sprinkled the building with petrol and set fire to it at 11 pm, said locals. After setting fire to the school, the group fled chanting pro-Maoist slogans. The exam scheduled to start on Monday was held on the school ground, said Maoist area secretary Shital.
