Schools to be rebuilt at Rs 190 million
Lamjung: District Education Office, Lamjung has allocated Rs 190 million for the reconstruction of schools that were destroyed and damaged in last year’s earthquake.
The DEO said 60 per cent of the reconstruction work was already over. District Education Officer Gyan Mani Nepal said 96 schools destroyed in the quake would be reconstructed.
According to the office’s physical facility expansion programme, two buildings with eight rooms, two buildings with six rooms, nine buildings with four rooms, 13 buildings with three rooms, and 75 buildings with two rooms will be built in the district.
The reconstruction work is scheduled to be completed within the fiscal 2016/17.
