JANAKPUR:

Three persons were hurt in a scuffle between locals and armed dacoits at Majhauratole of Hansapur Katpulla-1 on Wednesday night. Pradip Shah, Sonaphi Mandal and Birendra Chaudhari were injured when dacoits fired at them. Shah sustained bullet injury on his chest and is being treated at Dharan and the other two are undergoing treatment in Janakpur. The clash begun after dacoits tried to loot Pradip’s house. Dacoits fled with property worth Rs 1.5 lakh.
