Seasonal patients up

DAMAULI: The number of diarrhoea, fever and typhoid patients has gone up in Tanahun. Doctor Anil Giri of Damauli Hospital said the number of seasonal patients had risen significantly of late.

As many as 100 to 150 patients are admitted to OPD and around 50 patients in the emergency ward of the hospital every day.

Earlier, hardly around 100 patients used to visit the health facility, said Dr Giri. Patients from Byas municipality, Ghasikuwa, Kyamin, Keshavtar, Bhirkot, Shyamgha, Jamune, among other places, visit the hospital.

The health facility has advised patients not to eat chilly, oily and spicy food and maintain proper sanitation.
