KATHMANDU: The Constitutional Council on Wednesday nominated Secretary Tanka Mani Sharma as the Auditory General.

Sharma is currently stationed at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Minister.

A meeting of the Constitutional Council, held at Singhadarbar, chose Sharma to lead the Office of Auditor General and send his name to the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee for approval.

Yesterday, the CC had nominated Deep Basynat as the chief of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority.
