KATHMANDU: Two persons were killed and another two were injured when a passenger bus collided with a Maruti van at Gadauli, Dhading along Prithvi Highway on Thursday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Babul Gurung, the van driver and Dal Bahadur Thapa.

The injured are undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, Makar Kharel 22, a local resident of Rupandehi was killed in a tractor accident. He breathed his last at Lumbini Medical College.

According to police he was a helper of the tractor. The tractor and its driver are under custody for further investigation.
