DAMAULI: A sexagenarian pedestrian succumbed to injuries after being hit by a tipper at Mohariyama of Bandipur-2 in Tanahun district on Friday afternoon.

The District Police Office, Tanahun identified the deceased as a 65- year-old Baburam Nepali.

After the vehicle ( Ga 1 Kha 5588) en route to Dumre from Bandipur had hit Nepali, he was rushed to Bandipur Hospital where he breathed his last on Friday night itself.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
