MORANG: Nepali Congress Central Working Committee member, Shekhar Koirala, today instructed the party cadres to stay prepared for local election as it could take place anytime.

"The local election can take place at anytime, you should remain ready," Koirala said.

Addressing a programme organised by Nepal Factory Workers' Association, Koirala slammed the government for its incompetence to control inflation, black marketeering, artificial shortage of daily commodities and corruption.

He also appealed to the factory workers to exert pressure to the government to ensure minimum wage for them, stating they had been deprived of it.
