SYANGJA: Maina Devi Shrestha, a freedom fighter during the democratic movement of 2007 BS, passed away at her own residence in Syangja on Monday night. She was 108. Late Shrestha was suffering from respiratory diseases for a long time. The NC and NC-D, in separate press releases on Tuesday, said her death has caused an irreparable loss to the party and the country.
