Simrik Air crew rescued

Kathmandu, November 24:

A Manang Air chopper today airlifted all four crew members of a Simrik Air helicopter, which had crash-landed in Rarali yesterday, to Nepalgunj, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) said in a statement.

One crew member, who had sustained minor injuries in the head during the crash-landing, is undergoing treatment in the Nepalgunj Medical College, CAAN said, adding that another crew member had sustained minor injuries in his hand.

All four Simrik Air crew members — pilot, co-pilot, flight engineer and cabin attendant on board the chopper — are safe, the CAAN said.
