Sitaula wants to end 60:40 division in Nepali Congress
ITAHARI: Nepali Congress General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula today made an assertion that the party’s forthcoming 13th national general convention would take an important decision to end the 60:40 division in the party.
Speaking to journalists during a condolence meet held in the memory of late NC President Sushil Koirala, Sitaula expressed belief that the general convention representatives from across the country would arrive with new vigour and strategy to make the party energetic.
“The representatives must show maturity so as to not allow the shadings of the partisan sentiments connected with establishment side and the Deuba side,” Sitaula said.
Sitaula said the party leadership had already been selected in Dhanusha, Bara and Parsa and all the elections concluded in 51 districts.
He further emphasised his ambition to run for the party’s presidency.
