Six hurt in Gaur blast

Rautahat, May 14:

Six persons were injured, one of them critically, in a blast triggered by a gang in a medicine shop in Gaur municipality-1 of Rautahat district today.

According to eyewitnesses, four persons visited the store in the name of buying medicines and left a pipe bomb in front of the counter of the shop. Khem Chandra Khandewal (70), Pawan Kumar, Pramod Karna, Hari Shaha and an unidentified person were injured in the blast.

Owning up the blast, Mr John, president of the Tarai Army, said over phone that his outfit had triggered a ‘Nitrogen Time Bomb’ because the shop-owner had not given donation to his outfit and had been spying against his organisation.

Meanwhile, security personnel today defused a bomb planted on the Bhansar Road

of Gaur last evening.
