BIRATNAGAR: Three superintendents and four staffers have been suspended after they were found to be involved in irregularities during the ongoing SLC examination in the district. A monitoring team headed by the under secretary of the education ministry had caught them red-handed while being involved in irregularities. According to the District Education Office, Morang, those suspended superintendents include Jagadish Amatya of Jhurkiya secondary school, Birendra Mandal of Public Secondary School Rangeli and Jayabir Yadav of Dainiya centre. District Education Officer Pramod Shah said, “We have sought clarification with them immediately.” The monitoring team conducted a cross check after receiving frequent complaints of irregularities in these centres. Other suspended staffers are Basudev Sutiyar and Jitendra Kumar Raya of Rangeli centre and Jagat Rajbansi and Dineshlal Das of Jhurkiya centre. There are 51 centres in the district.
