Stir against Ncell

JHAPA:  A team comprising 40 youths led by Nepali Congress central member  Bishwo Prakash Sharma staged a demonstration to pile pressure on the  private mobile service provider company Ncell demanding that the  company clear its capital gain tax at the earliest.

Youths launched the  campaign shouting the slogan ‘A four-day 40 youths campaign for Rs 40  billion.’

During the campaign, they will urge all not to receive and  make any call to anybody else as a symbolic protest. Sharma said they  would continue their protest until the income tax is paid.

The Swedish  company Teliasonera had handed over ownership to Malaysian company Axiata  Pvt Ltd.

Educationist, social activists, political leaders of  Mechinagar, Bahundangi, Shantinagar, Dhaijan and Jyamirgadi, among other  places

of Jhapa, are involved in the campaign.
