CA members from different political parties today demanded promulgation of strict legal provisions to stop violence against women.

Speaking at a programme here today, Maoist leader Dinanath Sharma said there was a need for effective legal provision to guarantee women’s equal rights to property in order to bring an end to violence against women. NC CA member Laxman Ghimire said domestic violence could not be wiped out unless strict laws were promulgated.
