BARA: Claiming that transportation staffers refused to take them to their destinations, irate students on Thursday vandalised three vehicles at Prasauna area in Kalaiya. According to the District Police Office Bara, the students smashed window glasses of the vehicles that operated along Birjung - Kalaiya road section.

The students also chanted slogans against the police administration after vandalising the vehicles. The transportation entrepreneurs said that they did not want the students aboard their vehicles as they do not pay the fare. The entrepreneurs obstructed the highway immediately after the incident demanding compensation of the vandalised vehicles. The road was cleared at around 4 pm, the police said.
