BHOJPUR: A girl, who had gone for a bath with her friends in the Saptakoshi River, went missing on Sunday.

Police identified the five-year-old as Chini Kumari Mukhiya, daughter of Pankaj, of Haripur-9 of Sunsari district.

According to police, locals informed that she was swept away by the river.

Teams from the Koshi Barrage Police Beat and Bhyantabari Border Police Beat have initiated the search. However, her whereabouts are still not known.
