KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 24

The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday issued an interim order against the authorities' decision to use 108 kilograms of gold jalhari at the sacred Shiva Linga inside the holy Pashupatinath temple.

Probing into the writs filed by provincial lawmaker Narottam Baidhya and advocate Nikita Dhungana, the apex court issued an interim order against the authorities' decision of coating such a massive amount of gold on the temple's Shiva Linga.

A single bench of Justice Purshottam Bhandari directed the aforementioned this afternoon while also instructing the authorities to hold a meeting making sure of the involvement of the opponent on March 1.
