NEPALGUNJ: Nepali Congress acting President Sushil Koirala on Monday said that the national politics was at ebb and flow after the appointment of Sujata Koirala to the post of deputy Prime Minister.

Koirala was on an aerial inspection of flood and landslide hit Mid and the Far- West along with the PM. “There is a new current in national politics after the appointment,” he said.

Meanwhile, he maintained that appointment of Sujata to the post was not as per

the recommendation

of the NC.

“The party has taken it seriously and the issue will be discussed in the party’s central committee meeting, on Wednesday,” he added. He, however, backed

the PM and said that the PM had the right to appoint the deputy for smooth functioning of the government.
