Rampur: Police here on Monday reportedly arrested a man in possession of a loaded gun from Sekham-2 in Syangja district.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of security personnel deployed from Waling-based Area Police Office got hold of Tara Bahadur Shahi and seized the weapon and 13 set of bullets made up of glass as they raided Shahi's house.

The arrested has been produced before the District Court in Syangja, said the Police Inspector Uttam Prakash Baral at the Area Police Office, Waling.

Meanwhile, the investigation is underway and it is being prepared to book arrested Shahi under the Arms and Ammunition Act, shared Police Inspector Baral.
