Talks team formed to address Dr KC’s demands

KATHMANDU: The government on Monday formed a three-member talks team to address Dr Govinda KC’s demands 17 days after he went on fast-unto-death in Jumla.

The Cabinet meeting held on Monday in Singha Durbar formed a talks team led by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Secretary Khaga Raj Baral. Joint secretaries of the Ministry of Health and Population and Ministry of Home Affairs are the other members of the team. Dr KC has been on hunger strike since June 30, seeking health education reforms in Jumla.
