RAUTAHAT: A tanker staffer was arrested from Bagmati Bazaar of Chandrapur Municipality in Chitwan for stealing petrol from a Nepal Oil Corporation’s fuel tanker on Friday.

The fuel tanker was heading for NOC’s Thankot Depot. Driver’s helper Santosh Kumar Pandit was arrested while he was extracting petrol through a pipe from the tanker.

Tanker driver Tapeswor Prasad Kurmi, however,is on the run.
