KATHMANDU: A 46-year-old local man reportedly committed suicide by jumping into Bhotekoshi River from the Kodari Highway at Tatopani-1 of Sindhupalchok district in central Nepal.

Police said they located the body of Kaji Bahadur Lama, a permanent resident of Tatopani-2, on the river bank downstream. But the body was yet to be pulled from the site till this late afternoon.

Police said they are looking into the case.
