LEKHNATH: An unidentified gang shot dead taxi driver Balram Shrestha, 26, at Dulegaunda bazaar of Tanahu on Monday. A group of three gunmen fired three rounds of bullets on Shrestha who was inside his taxi (Ga 1 Ja 695). Sovit Subedi, assistant sub-inspector of police at the Belchautara-based police post, suspects Maoist hand in the incident. Shrestha died on way to Western regional hospital in Pokhara for treatment.
