PATHARI, MORANG: A student is contesting against his former teacher in the election to be held for a seat in the provincial assembly, from Constituency No. 3 of Morang district.

Former lecturer and national cooperatives bank chairman Ramesh Pokharel and Jeevan Acharya are vying for the seat. Pokharel represents the leftist alliance. Pokharel was Acharya's teacher at the Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus.

Furthermore, NC's youth leader Kedar Karki, also Pokharel's another student in the campus, is contesting for the same seat.
