KATHMANDU: A 17-year-old girl died after falling off a moving tractor at Chapakot Municipality in Syangja district on Wednesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Dhan Maya Ale.

Police said that Ale fell down from the tractor (Lu 3 Cha 1478) en route to Chapakot from Jogi Namcha at around 9 pm yesterday.

Critically injured Ale was rushed to a local health post at Waling Municipality, where she breathed her last during the course of treatment.

The Area Police Office, Ratnapur arrested the tractor driver for investigation.
