LAMJUNG: A 14-year-old girl was found dead in Bhoteodar, Sundar Bazaar Municipality-3 of Lamjung district on Wednesday.

Chief of the District Police Office, DSP Shambhu Prasad Dhakal, said the decayed body of the yet-to-be-identified girl was recovered from the bank of Marsyangdi River.

Some youth, who were in the River for a swim, had spotted the body and informed police.

Meanwhile, the body has been taken to the District Hospital for postmortem.

DSP Dhakal said police have circulated the notice across the district and around to identify the body.
