BHOJPUR: An 18-year-old girl died in lightning in Chainpur Municipality of Sankhuwasabha district on Saturday.

Susmita Magar, a permanent resident of Wana VDC-9 of Sankhuwasabha district, was hit by the thunderbolt this morning in Chainpur Municipality-13, the Biratnagar-based East Regional Police Office said.

A police team has been deployed to the incident site from the Chainpur Area Police Post.
