Teenager's whereabouts unkonwn

NEPALGUNJ: Whereabouts of a teenage boy who went missing two months ago are still unknown. Thirteen-year-old Raju Kahar, a resident of Jugan Bharuwa in Banke’s Khajurakhurda, went missing on May 11 from near the Nepalgunj-based district court.

All the efforts of his parents to find him have failed.

His parents even met a leader of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (Jwala Singh) to find their son’s whereabouts.

“I went to the police several times. I also met Bhagat Singh, Banke in-charge of the Jwala Singh-led Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha. But all my efforts to find my son have failed,” said Raju’s mother with tears in her eyes.

Meanwhile, Banke DSP Raj Kumar Baidhyabar said the police were doing everything in their capacity to locate Raju. Two suspects — Raju’s relatives Tribhuwan Kahar and Kailash Loniya —were detained for investigation, said DSP Baidhyabar. A case has also been filed against the duo on the charge of abduction

Whereabouts of Nepalgunj-based local cloth trader Gaurbakrishna Rastogi, who was abducted three weeks ago, are also unknown.
