GAIGHAT, UDAYAPUR: Telecommunication services have been disrupted for the past two days after the torrential rainfall caused mechanical failure in the regional telecommunications office tower in Itahari.

The mobile and telephone services have been disrupted creating problems for the local villagers in some districts in Tarai including Udayapur have been severed after a flooding in the Kadmana river swept an electric pole.

Meanwhile, the Gaighat District Telecom Office said that the telecommunications services could resume from today.
