BIRGUNJ: Life in different parts of the Terai region remained paralysed on Thursday—the third day in a row from Tuesday— due to the indefinite Terai bandh declared by Pichada Barga Mahasangh.

Although a few vehicles are running on the East-West Highway, markets and academic institutions have remained closed in Sarlahi, Bara, Siraha, Rautahat, Sunsari, Morang, Parsa and other parts of the Terai region.

The Pichada Barga Mahasangh have called the strike demanding the fulfillment of the previously agreed 11-point demand.
